Shutterstock, the global photography and image library company, which at one stage had a library of 750 million images for users to select from, engaged with interested stakeholders in a virtual platform regarding some of the new features that they were making available to users.
According to Cal Roberts, a member of Shutterstock’s Creative Strategy and Insights team, the Shutterstock platform has approximately 18 different models integrated into theirs.
“This ranges from OpenAI to Amazon, Runway, Google Imaging, Nano Banana (3 and the Pro version). The idea being that each of these models have been carefully sourced to fit into the individual needs,” he added.
According to the platform, users can now leverage legally cleared images to carry the same commercial license as your traditional Shutterstock stock assets. These would be items like a photograph taken with a camera, or video with real people or items in it.
“Think of it as an AI-trained art director that matches each prompt to the model best suited to deliver the output you are looking for,” the platform outlines.
