Sectoral updates from the extractive sector show that Namibia extracted an amount of 870 tonnes of uranium during the month of November 2025. This is, however, lower compared to the previous month’s production of 970 tonnes.
Meanwhile, gold mines extracted a total of 944 kg of gold bullion, an increase compared to the 909 kg produced in October 2025. However, this was lower than the 954 kg produced in the corresponding month of 2024.
The two minerals have dominated Namibia’s top 5 exports for 2025, together with other commodities from the extractive sector. Uranium is exported to various nations such as China, Canada, France, and the USA, while gold is exported to South Africa for processing.
This is according to the Namibia Statistics Agency.
