Osino Resources, which is developing the Twin Hills Gold Project, has reported that last week it reached 2 million work hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
The company posted on its LinkedIn page, explaining that the hours worked without disruption from injuries highlight the commitment of the company’s employees, contractors, and partners who continue to place health and safety at the centre of everything they do.
“From the construction front line to project support teams, every individual has contributed to creating a culture where looking out for one another is part of the job,” the company wrote.
Adding that as they move closer to first gold, they remain focused on ensuring that every person who comes to site returns home safely to their family at the end of the day.
“Safety is a collective effort, and this milestone belongs to the entire Twin Hills team,” the post read.
Osino is constructing and advancing the Twin Hills Gold Project into operations and is expected to be one of Namibia’s largest gold mines.
