In his contributions to the tabled National Budget, National Assembly Member Modestus Atshipara recommended that instead of shutting down critical State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), they must be bailed out and appointed the right people to lead them.
He said such a move will boost local production and revenue for the state.
Atshipara demands a government bail out for processing facility Seaflower Group of Companies, saying the bailout would restore jobs and advance Namibian pride.
He also applauded the government’s efforts in restoring the national airline as a step in the right direction.
