Namibia ranked fourth in Africa for ecosystem attractiveness according to the StartupBlink Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2026.
The Index has revealed that Namibia’s startup ecosystem has recorded growth of 8.2% during the period reviewed.
Namibia ranked 94th globally and 10th in Africa, while Windhoek the capital city is placed 525th worldwide.
Windhoek ecosystem improvement has recorded growth of 20.3%.
The report highlighted increased support for startups, including in financial technology, as Namibia continues efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship, investment readiness, and market access.
