ScaleUp Namibia (SUN) officially opened its offices in Windhoek on Friday afternoon. The office, located in the FNCC building, is free to use for Namibian entrepreneurs seeking to accelerate their growth and gain access to international markets.
SUN is the result of a collaboration between the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) and the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB).
SUN connects innovation hubs, incubators, accelerators, universities, private sector entities, investors, and entrepreneurs. The five focus areas of SUN are funding, infrastructure, ecosystem data, capacity development, and visibility.
