Fuel Retailers’ Margin Increased

The Ministry of Mines and Energy announced last week that it has resolved to increase fuel dealers’ margin by 14 cents as of February 2026.

This means fuelling stations will now earn 236 cents per litre of fuel they sell.

The government regulates the fuel supply and distribution sector, also determining prices and margins.

For the month of February 2026, fuel prices (diesel and petrol) will decrease. Petrol will go down by 100 cents, while diesel decreases by 50 cents.
