A report on the Accelerated Industrial Development for Africa (AIDA) & the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) indicates that Namibia holds considerable trade potential.
This potential is presented by unworked diamonds and foreign mackerel.
The report states that Namibia has $816 million in unrealised export potential within Africa and about $3.9 billion globally by 2030.
The assessment report notes that if Namibia adds value to its products, there are sizeable economic and human development benefits.
