Ally Tobias Returns with Ehangano Concert Vol. 2 – A Night of Heritage, Hymns, and Hope

Celebrated Namibian singer Ally Tobias has announced the highly anticipated Ehangano Concert Vol. 2, set for 4 July 2026 at the National Theatre of Namibia.

Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s concert promises an unforgettable evening celebrating modernised traditional hymns while giving back to the community.

The Ehangano Concert has established itself as Namibia’s premier cultural music event, bridging generations through the timeless beauty of Oshiwambo hymns reimagined for contemporary audiences.

Vol. 2 will feature songs from Ally Tobias’ acclaimed repertoire, including tracks from her latest album, Eimbilo, which continues to resonate deeply with audiences across Namibia.

“The Ehangano Concert is more than just a musical showcase – it’s a movement that preserves our cultural heritage while creating meaningful social impact by bringing together people from all walks of life through the word of God,” said Ally Tobias.

“I’m honoured to bring this experience to the National Theatre of Namibia and to share these sacred hymns with both longtime supporters and new audiences,” she added.

True to the spirit of giving that has defined the Ehangano Concert series, Vol. 2 will continue its philanthropic mission. Proceeds from the event will support the Orlindi Orphanage by providing food and warm clothing, reflecting Ally Tobias’ commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities across Namibia.

“In 2024, we were able to make a significant contribution to the orphanage, and this year we’re determined to do even more,” Tobias added.

“When you attend Ehangano, you’re not just experiencing beautiful music – you’re investing in the future of Namibian children,” she said

The Ehangano hymn book holds special significance within the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCIN) community and among Oshiwambo-speaking Namibians. Ally Tobias has masterfully transformed these traditional hymns into contemporary arrangements that appeal to younger generations while maintaining the spiritual essence that has made them beloved for decades.

The Ehangano concert will feature a full band, special guest artists including Tate Buti and Dee’A, and Ally Tobias’ signature powerful vocals that have earned her recognition as one of Namibia’s most compelling performers.

Tickets are on sale exclusively through Webtickets at www.webtickets.com.na, and fans can listen to Ally’s music via Omalaeti Media’s Imba hymn book mobile application.
