
The government has reassured the public that the country has sufficient fuel stock and the national fuel systems remain stable.
The Ministry of Energy has indicated that it will continue monitoring international market developments to ensure fuel prices remain reflective of actual import costs while maintaining stability in the fuel market.
The Ministry said there are no immediate risks of fuel storage in the country.
The government has estimated to absorb the petrol under-recovery amounting to N$47.2 million for this month.
The government has also resolved to keeping the fuel pump price for June unchanged.
