A lover’s quarrel which ended in naked pictures being posted on Facebook was addressed during the Magistrate’s Court appearance of Theresia Lukas (32) from Ombili.

Lukas was involved in an argument with her lover (Kuntama Lubanzodio) in September this year, and events which followed led her to posting naked pictures of her lover on a social media platform, leading to several charges.

On 14 September when the events broke out, Lukas went to the residence of her lover, where she got away with items worth N$6000 including a Panasonic DVD, shoes, a coolbox, handbag and a pot. On 23 September in Wanaheda, she continued with her assault by posting Lubanzodio’s naked pictures on Facebook.

She was arrested three days later, and charged with theft and crimen injuria under the Domestic Violence Act 4 of 2003. She has currently free on bail of N$1000, and her case has been postponed to 2 February next year for further investigations.
