A Katutura woman was picked up by the Namibian Police after she had assaulted and robbed a woman of her possessions in Katutura last week.
Julia Shikongo, 30, was arrested on 9 August 2011 in connection with a robbery that took place in April this year.
Shikongo had allegedly attacked a woman in Katutura and before anyone could come to Johanna Shiimi’s rescue, Shikongo had made away with her N$10 680 worth of possessions.
It is alleged that Shikongo grabbed the complainant by the arms and snatched from her two cell phones, a jersey, a pair of shoes, perfume and personal documents to the total value of N$10 680 on 7 April this year.
Shikongo was remanded in police custody and her case was postponed to 11 October 2011 while investigations continue.
