Power utility Nampower has gone on the market to look for a new Managing Director despite the incumbent suspended Paulinus Shilamba still serving a suspension.

Shilamba’s key reason of suspension was linked to mismanagement of the company’s procurement system. Shilamba was suspended by the board of the parastatal this year for mishandling key power projects.

The Power utility splashed adverts in local dailies advertising the position of the MD raising speculation that Shilamba might have been shown the door.
