21-year-old Praise Kanyemba, 28-year-old Nozipho Ndiwe and 30-year-old Tawanda Nyahwemi were arrested in Windhoek after it was found that they are illegal immigrants.
The trio was arrested on 1 July this year in the Goreangab settlement area.
The police established that they were in the country illegally because they failed to produce passports and valid visas which would give them the authority to be in the country.
The second accused, Ndiwe, is being charged with two counts of being illegally in the country because he did not leave the country when he was instructed to do so the first time he was arrested.
Court documents did not specify when and where the suspect was initially arrested.
The trio were arrested on 18 June this year, and made their first appearance on 2 July.
They have now been remanded in police custody while the case is ongoing.
