Assault case postponed

Magistrate Hilma Onna Nangombe granted the postponement of an assault case stemming from 2012 at the Katutura Magistrates court yet again last week.
49 year old Sakaria Alfeus was charged with three separates counts of assault which contravene the Arms and Ammunition Act.
Alfeus was charged with one count of assault by threat, one count of pointing a firearm and someone and one count of negligently discharging/placing of a firearm.
It is alleged that on 20 November 2012, the suspect threatened Panduleni Shivolo and pointed a gun at him. In the ensuing commotion, Alfeus discharged is pistol, injuring Olivia Ndahila.
The case is scheduled to be heard on 15 October this year. The suspect is out on bail of N$1000.
