Evidently more and more women are taking on their male counterparts’ propensity of being violent unrepentant offenders.
Most cases of domestic abuse or gender-based violence (GBV) often have male perpetrators. However, this week Fabiola Kavezeri proved that women too can be just as bad.
35 year old Kavezeri was charged for breaching a protection order against her. The suspect is said to have grabbed and strangled her victim when they ran into each other on 21 February at Herero location.
She was initially charged with domestic violence on 24 April 2014, and received a protection order against her on the 28th of the same month.
The suspect was informed to refrain from any forms of domestic violence towards the victim, be it physical, emotional and economical abuse, as well as any form of harassment.
Kavezeri however breached ther protection order this year when she throttled the victim. Magistrate Hileni Riana Kavara postponed the case to 30 July 2015 so that the suspect can secure legal representation..-saphire.1780@gmail.com
