Schlettwein - N$53.91b in revenue projected

The New Minister of Finance Calle Schlettwein is during the budget reading today announced the increase of pensioner's allowances to N$1000 and that Namibia projects N$53.91 billion in revenue.

Schlettwein also said;

The inflation rate remains relatively low.

Namibia's borrowing strategy continues to support domestic markets.

SACU revenue is currently broadly shared and revenue matters cannot be seen in isolation.

Namibia needs to trade with finished products to avoid being trapped.
