PDK releases independence song

Popular musical group PDK have released a song in celebration of the forthcoming silver jubilee celebrations this month.

Members of the popular group that has been riding the wave with their last offering say the song was inspired by the leaders of the liberation struggle and the success and peace in the last 24 years.

The song which was composed under by Omalaeti studio. PDK was selected to compose a song to go hand in hand with the 2015 Independence celebration theme “United We Stand for the Love of Namibia”; the song is on radios and can be shared by any means for free.

While the song tallies well with the celebration mood it is also one that has typical Afro pop fusion and giving it appeal to both the young and the young at heart.

PDK’s Patrick Mwashindange says they expect the song to reach out to a diverse audience.
