Namibian Soccer ace Jerome Louis will have an opportunity to shine at the highest stage when his Botswana Club, Township Rollers clash in the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League early next year.
Township Rollers with a Zimbabwean coach, Madinda Ndlovu face a herculean start to the continental soccer extravaganza when they take an aim at arguably the Southern African Development Community’s most flamboyant tem in Amakhosi.
According to Kick Off one of the most- renowned soccer publications in the region Louis will be the man to watch when Rollers date Amakhosi.
Louis is enjoying a purple patch in the lackluster Botswana premier league which however seem to pay better than his native MTC Premier league in terms of salaries.
He is sitting on a pretty nine goals for the season with his team at the summit of the log standings.
Commenting of Louis’s deft touch Kick Off said, “Namibia international striker Louis has nine goals this season and leads the BPL goal scoring charts, a position he has become used to in his career thus far. He will be the man to watch inside the final third of the field.”
