Secretary to Cabinet, Frans Kapofi has retired as a civil servant, effective today. Kapofi has worked as a civil servant for 16 years and will not look to pursue a career as a parliamentarian next year. 

Kapofi who is the longest serving top civil servant, said “I am humbled by the fact that I had the privilege to lead the civil service and in so doing helped execute proactive policies to achieve social justice, while improving economic performance in different sectors”.
