Tura men take turns on drunken lady

Courts

Two Otjiherero speaking men, Ebson Kavari (28) and Silvei Kazombunga (a 16 year old minor at the time of the alleged incident), now 24, pleaded not guilty to charges implicating them of rape at the Katutura Regional Court this week.
On the evening of 15 June, 2003, Hedretor Isaack (32) was highly intoxicated and fell deeply asleep at her home in Thomas Street, Wanaheda when Kavari, who facilitated the coercive sexual intercourse, came in and raped her.
After he was done, he called upon his accomplice, Kazombunga who also came in and satisfied his sexual orgy on the drunken lady, while the other watched.
No sooner had the drunken stupor evaporated than Isaack realised she had been penetrated. And she filed a rape charge on the two gentlemen. Their case was postponed to 30 May next year for further investigations.
