Attempted escapee appears in court

A 35 year old man appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted murder and trying to resist arrest.
Tuhafeni Shindele stabbed another man, Magongo David in the northern Industrial area, after the two got into a fight and Shindele acquired a knife.
When an attempt was made to arrest Shindele, he made several attempts absconded, before finally being caught.
The accused’s bail was set at N$2000, and with investigations complete, the case will continue on the 15th of May Next year.
