PolytechnicÔÇÖs 18th Annual HIV/AIDS Campaign kicks off

The Polytechnic of Namibia will host its 18th annual HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign from 11-12 September at the Polytechnic main campus.

This year’s theme is We Can Stop GBV & HIV and the First Lady Penehupifo Pohamba will officiate the event as the keynote speaker. The objective of the campaign is to mitigate the impact of and the connection between HIV/AIDS and violence as well as to educate this youth on aspects of healthy relationships.

There will be various mediums through which the theme will be expressed, such as dramas, debating, music and dance performances. The two day program will begin in front of Elizabeth-Haus on the PoN main campus at 09h00.
