Standard Bank Namibia (SBN) has promoted Elke Mouton to the position of team leader, specialised recoveries with effect from April 1st.
Mouton will be responsible for instituting and monitoring the bank’s legal processes, which will include rehabilitation of bad and doubtful debt, as well as the repossession process, leading a team of specialised repossession officers at the bank.
She has nine years of solid banking experience, of which five were spent in the rehabilitation and recoveries department and four in sales. She is currently busy completing her B.Com in marketing at the Polytechnic of Namibia (PoN).
“I will do my utmost best to reduce the non-performing loan-book and look forward to assisting customers through debt rehabilitation,” Mouton says.
