Woman freed from robbery case

Olga Simon (21) was refunded her N$100 bail money and set free after the woman who had laid a charge against her for robbery failed to appear at the Katutura Court last week.

Simon was arrested on 6 April this year when Josephine Ndolakola had her charged for robbery with aggravating circumstances. 

Simon had allegedly attacked Ndolakola with a rock in Havana before getting away with her N$200 cell phone.

She was only arrested about three weeks later when Ndolakola went and identified her as the woman who had robbed her.

However, on 4 November, Simon and the complainant had to appear before the court but only Simon showed up. The court then ordered that the case against Simon be withdrawn
