The Office of the Chairman of NCCI Northern Branch has announced the death of Petrus Shovaleka well-known as Kaboyi.

Kaboyi died tragically in a car accident this morning.

“It is with profound sadness that the entire NCCI members and executive management would extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and to our good friend Toivo Shovaleka on the unfortunate death of his brother,” read a statement from Tomas Iindji, chairman of the NCCI Northern branch.

At the time of his death, Shovaleka was working as Northern Regional Manager at Nampower.

Said Toivo Shovaleka, “His death is a shock, a big shock, I can’t believe this. The news sounded imaginary, especially someone of his character. He was a very cool person, full of jokes and cheerful,” he described him.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated at a later stage.
