The Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) stall at this year’s Windhoek Show Grounds is poised to be the best they ever had, according to Andre de Jager, General Manager: Production Solutions.
“We are going to have great specials for customers. At entry level we have the Samsung 1205T which at N$99 will be the cheapest handset you can find with a colour screen, 2G and FM radio. This product comes with N$100 free money which can be used for SMS, voice or data. This free money can also be loaded unto any sim card that the customer chooses,” explains de Jager.
In all, five products will be offered in this ‘buy two for one’ package, including the Huawei W1 with wifi, GPS, touch screen and runs on Windows 8, the latest in Microsoft operating systems. This product comes at N$2399, but for the Show Grounds will be valued at just N$1199 as the customer gets two.
This special promotion will only be valid at the Show Grounds, during the show.
The vending machines which are in their third generation will also be at the MTC stalls to showcase accessibility of their services.
“The vending machines are there to make life easier for our clients and we want them to start using them more. They don’t need to be standing in queues to pay their accounts; they can simply do that there.”
MTC also encourages fans and customers to reach out to the mobile giant through their Facebook page in order to establish a communication link, as well as to make use of their data bundles package by dialling *682#.
“Our customers will not be disappointed at the Show, they will get value for money and they will also have the reassurance that we are a reputable, Namibian company that has been around for more than 15 years. Our customers always anticipate us to give them great deals and at our stall at the Show Grounds they can rest assured we will do that.”
