Man rapes pregnant ex

a six-month pregnant Soweto woman says her ex-boyfriend raped her after she refused to give him food.
The 27-year old whose name V-Metro has withheld for legal reasons is now seeing another man, Oscar Matheus, whose child she is carrying.
As a result of the rape, the woman had to go through rigorous medical tests at Katutura State Hospital last week after Silvanus Kambale (34) forced himself on her.
Relating her ordeal to V-Metro at the hospital, she said Kambale who lives in the same street visited her around midnight on Monday and found her watching TV while lying in bed.
The woman said she split with Kambale last December after dating for about four years and that since then he has been trying to get her back.
“He was drunk and he asked if I could cook him some food. I told him I was tired as I was watching TV from my bed then he sat on the side of the bed,” she said.
She further said that Kambale waited until their three year old daughter had fallen asleep then took her off the bed.
“He pushed me down the mattress and started to remove my clothes. I tried to kick him but I wasn’t able and I tried not to scream because I didn’t want to wake the kid up,” she said.
She said Kambale removed her clothes and proceeded to rape her while muffling her screams.
“After the rape, he started nagging me about the pregnancy. He asked why I had fallen pregnant just a month after we broke up,” she said.
After the rape, the woman said Kambale fled the room and she reported the matter to her father who took her to the hospital the next morning.
The police informed Matheus about the incident.
“I know the guy very well because he lives close to her in Soweto. He never seemed to have a problem with me before. Of course, you’d never know what is in the other person’s heart,” said Matheus.
