Meliza Wambo, 22 and Katrina Wambo, 40, were nabbed in Nama 10, Katutura, four years ago for dealing in mandrix and made a brief court appear last week.
According to court documents, on 27 June 2008, the drugs were discovered at their Nama 10 home by police during a drug bust. 15 full, 190 half and 201 quarter pieces of mandrix containing methaquolone and cannabis were found in their possession.
The mandrix was valued at N$12 925. Should they both be found guilty of dealing in illicit drugs, they will be liable to serve not more than 15 years of jail term or pay a N$30 000 fine each on first conviction.
Their case was postponed to 17th December this year for plea and trial.
