A man was stripped half naked by a teenage robber in Ongava Street at the beginning of this month after physically assaulting him with a stone.
On the 2nd of this month, the Katutura Magistrate Court heard, the victim decided to take a walk along Ongava Street and that’s when the 16-year-old offender attacked him with a stone before making off with his clothes and shoes. The boy was arrested the following day after having ripped the man off his pair of jeans, shoes, two T-shirts, an Orlando Pirates cap, a Nokia cell phone, a camera and N$600 cash, which all totalled to N$2 798.
Court reports do not confirm whether or not all his belonging were recovered after the teenager’s arrest. Last week, the teen was supposed to appear in court with his guardian but they both failed to do so and now a warrant of arrest has been issued for both of them.
