Courts

This week, the Katutura Magistrate Court entertained the case of four people who were arrested for stealing gas from a house in Katutura.
The accused; Willem Narib, Alex Sebastian, Angelika Kaveto and Lukas Narib had not been caught in the act but were only arrested two months after the incident. On 7th May this year while in Katutura, the accused allegedly broke into Ndaminga Katindi’s house and stole 17 cans of gas; 14 bottles of 9kg gas cans and three 7kg cans.
Kaveto and Narib were granted a N$700-bail each to make their first court appearance while the other two were remanded in custody until last week when they made bail as well.
The gang will be returning to court on 28th of next month as police investigations continue.
