Hubby burns down girlfriendÔÇÖs shack

A suspected arsonist who is accused of burning down his girlfriend’s shack in Katutura last year, made a brief appearance in the Katutura Magistrate Court this week.
Hafeni Gabriel burnt down Nghaamwa Ashedwa’s corrugated iron zinc shack in June last year after they had a fall-out.
During his first appearance in court last year, he was denied the right to file for bail because of the seriousness of the case.
He was only granted bail after his mother passed away to enable him to attend her burial. However, he has to comply with the conditions of the court and not contact his now ex-girlfriend.
He was charged with arson under the Domestic Violence Act and when he briefly appeared in court this week, he was told to return to court on 17th of July this year.
