43-year old charged with rape

Michael Muramba, a resident of Independence Street 68, has been charged with committing the crime of rape on the 16th of April 2016 near UN Plaza in Wanaheda area of the Windhoek district. The accused will appear again in court on the 12th of September 2016  to allow the accused to seek legal representation court documents show. Muramba remains in police custody.
In an unrelated case of rape Eliaser Natangwe (27), a resident of Okuryangava in Windhoek has been charged with rape after he inserted his penis into the complainants vagina while applying force and threatening her. Court documents show that the incident took place on the 19th of April 2016 near the offices of the Ministry of Labour in the Khomasdal residential area. The accused is out on bail for N$3 000 and will appear in court on the eighth of September 2016 as the docket was not at court during the last proceedings.
