Man charged with fraud

Patrick David (32), a resident of erf 3545 Frankfurt Street, has been charged with committing the crime of fraud after it was alleged that on the 27th of November 2015 he impersonated Tobias Endjala and claimed to be selling a plot/house in the vicinity of Extension 8 in Otjomuise in the Windhoek district. Court documents show that Endjala lost a total of N$20 000 through the fraudulent transaction while David knew full well that he was not the owner of the mentioned plot/house. The accused is currently on bail for N$5000 and will appear again in court on the seventh of September 2016 as his docket was previously not at court.
