Man charged for possession of stolen goods

Josua Jonas (42), a resident of Erf 10 Omunyambabi Street in Ombili, has been charged with possession of alleged stolen property after he was found to have two bags, black and green in colour, with clothes other than ‘stock’ or ‘produce’ as defined by Act 12 of 1990 in regard to which there was a reasonable suspicion that the property was stolen. The incident took place on the first of August 2016 near Omunyambabi Street in Ombili in the Windhoek District court documents show. The accused is expected back in court on the 15th November 2016 as further investigations are being carried out.
