Woman conceals birth of child

Jacobina Mvula (26), a resident of Erf 169 Nabot Hela Nafidi Street in Okahandja Park, is alleged to have concealed the birth of a child that died before, during or after birth and then disposing of the body of the said infant. The incident is alleged to have transpired on the 23rd of June 2016 near the Windhoek district. This charge comes with a penalty clause of a fine not exceeding N$ 200 or a three year imprisonment. Mvula remains in police custody and will appear in court on the 20th of September 2016 due to enable here to get legal aid.
