Remco Evenepoel Completes Time Trial Hattrick
25-year-old Belgian Remco Evenepoel won his third consecutive Individual Time Trial title at the UCI Road World Championships after finishing ahead of Australian Jay Vine with a time of 49:46 minutes. Evenepoel’s fellow countryman, Ilan van Wilder, finished in third.
South Africa’s Byron Muton finished as the highest placed African rider, finishing 20th.
