Closed mouths don’t get fed

By: Anna Ambata
In life, opportunities usually don’t come knocking at your door and offer themselves on a silver platter. More often than not, if you want something, you need to ask for it.
Whether it’s in your personal or professional life.
One of the main reasons people hesitate to ask for what they want is the fear of rejection.
What if they say no?
What if I look stupid?
But consider this: if you don’t ask, you’re already saying no to yourself.
The beautiful thing about asking is that the worst-case scenario isn’t as terrible as it might seem. If someone says no, it doesn’t mean the end of the world.
Besides, asking is not just about seeking a specific answer; it’s about creating opportunities. When you express your desires, needs, and aspirations, you open the door to possibilities.
Waiting for good things to happen on their own can be a recipe for inaction and missed opportunities.
Instead, be PROACTIVE.
Use your voice to create opportunities for yourself.
Remember, the world favors those who take action.
So, the next time you find yourself hesitating to ask for something you truly want, remember this: closed mouths don’t get fed.
