One of the women, *Laura, who lost more than N$600 000 to the Auction King, pleaded with his mother to talk to her son.
*Kudzai targets lonely women after stalking some of them on social media. He then promises them marriage and a happy-ever life if they can go into business with him.
The women would then pay for vehicles Kudzai bought from the auctions. They would also fix the cars. Once the vehicles were sold, Kudzai would pocket the money.
When Laura realised that she had been conned, she opened a case with the police. She also wrote to Kudzai’s mother in Zimbabwe.
According to Laura, the mother did not respond to her pleas when she asked her to talk to her son.
Kudzai’s friends in Namibia have not been of any help.
The women are now hoping that the police will help since they have lodged their complaints.
The Villager reached out to Kudzai last week, and he said he was in an audit and would come back.
