The long-awaited oxygen is conclusively on the way to Namibia according tot he Popular Democratic Movement’s McHenry Venaani. The opposition leader said on Monday that the government is doing it’s best to settle the scarcity of oxygen in hospitals countrywide.
Venaani confirmed this on his twitter account that he had a frank teleconference meeting with president Hage Geingob about the oxygen crisis, wherein Geingob assured him that trucks transporting oxygen that were held up at the border, are finally on the way.
“The situation of a lack of oxygen in our health facilities must be clarified and government must be answerable to the death of so many. It is enough that we might not have the jabs, but pure oxygen cannot be acceptable,” Venaani said.
The lack of oxygen in hospitals has created major concern and panic amongst families of the pupils who contracted the COVID-19 virus, thus leading the government into prompt action.
