Khomasdal constituency political commissar for the Independent Patriots for Change, Godwin Kamberipa-Mbuende, has resigned his post from the party expressing dissatisfaction with Dr. Panduleni Itula’s leadership style.
Mbuende joins Lawrence Ihuhua who yesterday accused Itula of being a dictator.
“I am part of the team which was having grievances and I am the spokesperson of the team which left with Mr. Ihuhua. What I can say currently now is that the dictatorship of Dr. Itula will lead to more people resigning from IPC.”
“He is coming with the same mentality of Swapo. The leadership style of bullying. Not wanting to listen to other people may lead to the collapse and the end of IPC,” he said.
Mbuende also said, “Power has been vested in one person. Currently there is no vice president in this political movement. That power is vested in Dr. Itula. Why is he not appointing a VP? What will happen if tomorrow he is no more. The leadership style, you can see it already. You can read between the lines”.
Asked whether the party has accepted these resignations, IPC Secretary General, Christine Aochamus, yesterday said she was yet to look into the matter.
