Erongo police said that a 31-year-old man from Uis location hanged himself Monday morning after arguing with his girlfriend whom he stabbed.
Sageus Ndeanare Kalenga’s body was found by his family members around 09h30 lying in the river with a broken piece of rope around his neck.
The police suspect that Kalenga hanged himself and then the rope failed to hold the weight of his body.
According to the police, Kalenga had an argument with his girlfriend around 03h00 on Monday and then he stabbed the girlfriend before disappearing.
The police did not say whether the girlfriend was badly injured or not.
