A Katutura man has been arrested by the police for the murder of his brother whom he allegedly stabbed after an argument erupted over a jacket.
The deceased took the jacket without his brother’s permission, according to the police resulting in the fatal stabbing.
The deceased was rushed to hospital where he died and the suspect was consequently arrested.
In another stabbing incident, a 45-year-old Outjo man died after he was struck with a knife by his girlfriend.
According to the police, the deceased first slapped his girlfriend who fell to the ground and she thrust an Okapi knife into his chest leading to his death.
The girlfriend is now in police custody facing a charge of murder.
In Otjiwarongo, another murder case has been opened after a 20-year-old man died due to a stabbing and no arrest has so far been made.
In Katima Mulilo another man was stabbed with a screwdriver at the Suncity bar and no arrest has so far been made.
