Namibia has recorded a record 80 cases in one day – 52 were announced Wednesday morning and 28 late Wednesday.
The 28 new cases bring the total number of cases to 285.
Health minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula said 20 of the cases are from Walvis Bay while one if at Oakahandja and involves a person who travelled from Walvis Bay.
All those who tested positive are Namibians and are in stable conditions.
