The skeleton of an 87-year-old man who went missing in December 2019 was found by a goat herder in Otjimbingwe on Thursday.
Erongo police said Simon Andreas was reported missing at Otjimbingwe Police Station on 28 December 2019.
According to a police report, a goat herder found the skeleton in a field near Erekero Pos on Thursday afternoon.
The police said the goat herder informed his employer who in turn informed the police.
Andreas’ next of kin identified the remains from the clothes and boots he was wearing when he went missing.
