I was angry – the woman who threatened to shoot Geingob said

The Namibian police earlier today said that they are looking for a woman in connection with a Facebook post where she made comments, police Inspector General termed tantamount to treason,

For the whole day, Sonja Isaaks says she has been trying to explain to that she cannot remember the post, that she is bipolar and taking medication.

Speaking to Eagle FM earlier Isaaks said that she was extremely apologetic for her actions and that she pleads with the Namibian nation to understand the unfortunate predicament she found herself in.

Isaaks said the words she used in the post are vile therefore felt she needed to explain the circumstances

Isaaks said she is not racist, and the post was nothing personal, but she feels unhappy with the president with reports of him being arrogant.

She is angry with the inequality in the country where ministers and the president are living lavishly while the country is not moving forward

She was shocked and disgusted with herself there she apologized to President Hage Geingob.

“To the president, I’m very sorry and I feel very ashamed and I don’t mean that I hate you,”

She also apologized to the nation as her post was written with anger towards the current situation in the country.

After hearing the police is in search for her, Isaaks said she was scared the police will take her away.

She hopes the country understands the Facebook post was out of anger and frustration.

Her father said he will not post bail for her and scolded Isaaks for her actions.
