Fishrot6 to be moved to prison

The Fishrot6 – former ministers Bernhard Esau and Sacky Sanghala, former Investec managers James Hatuikulip and Ricardo Gustavo, Tamson Hatuikulipi and Pius Mwatelulo – who are detained at Seeis Police Station outside Windhoek will be transferred to the Windhoek Correctional Facility Thursday.
Police Inspector-General Sebastian Ndeitunga confirmed to EagleFM on Thursday the move to transfer the Fishrot6 to the Windhoek Correctional Facility.
Ndeitunga said since they have been in court and no bail was granted, the six accused in the N$150m bribe scandal, should be in prison instead of a police holding cell.
He also said that the move would bring them closer to their families and health facilities as well as save the police fuel.
