Executive Director at the ministry of labour Bro-Matthew Shinguadja has exclusively disclosed to Eagle FM that a clique that agitated fishermen to enter into an “illegal” strike at Walvis Bay had intentions to form a political party.
The strike sparked into action in 2014 and although some fishermen have returned to work, the leaders have refused and continue to battle against their former employer at the High Court.
Speaking to Eagle FM, Shinguadja has said the fishermen were used and he advised them to seek legal action for damages they suffered by being led into an “illegal strike” with sinister motives.
