Liezel Bom Willemse (25) was shot dead with a hunting rifle by her boyfriend aged 31 on Christmas Day in Khomasdal, Windhoek.
The boyfriend, who can’t be named now, is in police custody.
The police have confirmed the shooting.
Eagle FM understands that the two argued while in a taxi on their way home.
When the taxi got to where the two stay, the boyfriend jumped out, rushed into their house and brought out the hunting gun and shot her under the left eye. She died on the spot.
