Resignation: John Walenga has resigned from the board of the Development Bank of Namibia

News

Walenga who has served as board member from July 2009 until present day says his resignation is a result of a pending divorce process he is going through with his wife, Magreth.
“Divorce is not a good thing and the DBN is a huge institution. By going through a divorce and by going to court over such a thing, to me it’s a failure on integrity. I do not feel I am the right man to be sitting on the DBN board and after that I have to dash across the streets to (the High) Court to settle my divorce.”
Lawyer Elize Angula is the Chairperson of the DBN Board having taken over from Sven Thieme.
